New Executive Director Appointed for Macomb/St. Clair Michigan Works!

Macomb/St. Clair Michigan Works! and the Macomb/St. Clair Workforce Development Board have announced the appointment of Justin Al-Igoe as executive director of Macomb/St. Clair Michigan Works! effective May 10, 2021.

Al-Igoe has worked with several Michigan Works! Agencies in southeast Michigan. Starting his career as a case manager with Washtenaw County Michigan Works!, he has also served as the assistant director for Livingston County Michigan Works! and the policy and operations manager for Michigan Works! Southeast. Al-Igoe brings nearly 13 years of workforce development experience. Prior to that, he worked on community action programs in Washtenaw County. He is also an Officer in the United States Navy Reserve and has completed two overseas tours to the Middle East and Africa.

“Macomb/St. Clair Michigan Works! is an influential organization supporting the Macomb and St. Clair County community,” said Al-Igoe. “It is an honor to help continue the great work and service that the organization provides to local employers and job seekers. I look forward to leading this organization which is dedicated to adapting the programs and services it offers in order to meet the evolving needs of our community.”
