Job Description

Quality Inspector – Parts Grinder – Sterling Heights, MI.

The position consists of grinding metal automotive parts (no experience needed – willing to train)
Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
$15.00 per hour

This job requires you to grind automotive metal parts which will be a dirty job, all required PPE will be provided (safety glasses, sleeves, and gloves).

Any interested candidate in the Quality Inspector/Parts Grinder must be able to :

  • Must be able to start immediately
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be able to stand for long hours
  • Able to read and write
  • Must be able to pass a Background check

Summary of the Quality Inspector/Parts Grinder :
Inspect/Grind metal parts per written instruction supplied by the customer or CER Management as effectively and efficiently as possible

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Quality Inspector/Parts Grinder:

  • Inspect/Grind designated materials by confirming specifications; conducting the visual or dimensional inspection; rejecting and recording unacceptable materials
  • Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs
  • Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations

 

Education and Experience requirements of the Quality Inspector/Parts Grinder :

  • High School Diploma / GED preferred
  • Previous inspection experience preferred
  • Previous experience grinding metal parts is preferred but not required
