Job Description

We are an Independent Insurance Agency seeking a customer service representative. The CSR will assist our team through customer service, general back office support, and other duties as assigned. No cold-calling or sales duties.

Responsibilities and Duties Include:

  • Servicing existing clients
  • Managing inbound phone calls and assisting in completing customer requests
  • Building client relationships
  • Making policy changes
  • Assisting sales staff in processing documentation
  • Handle agent and policyholder correspondence and related paperwork

Must Possess:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Ability to prioritize and complete assigned tasks
  • Strong interpersonal and multi-tasking skills

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in insurance or customer service
  • High School Diploma; some college preferred
  • Active P&C license preferred; must be willing to obtain P&C license if not active
