Job Description
We are an Independent Insurance Agency seeking a customer service representative. The CSR will assist our team through customer service, general back office support, and other duties as assigned. No cold-calling or sales duties.
Responsibilities and Duties Include:
- Servicing existing clients
- Managing inbound phone calls and assisting in completing customer requests
- Building client relationships
- Making policy changes
- Assisting sales staff in processing documentation
- Handle agent and policyholder correspondence and related paperwork
Must Possess:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook
- Ability to prioritize and complete assigned tasks
- Strong interpersonal and multi-tasking skills
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in insurance or customer service
- High School Diploma; some college preferred
- Active P&C license preferred; must be willing to obtain P&C license if not active
