As a dislocated worker, Angelic was co-enrolled as a training participant receiving assistance for tuition and fees through the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) and as a participant with the Partnership, Accountability, Training, and Hope (PATH) program. Angelic had returned to the healthcare pathway following work as a Certified Nurse Aid a few years earlier. A student at St. Clair County Community College, Angelic graduated in December of 2022 and earned the Practical Nurse License the next month. PATH provided employment support with assistance in purchasing a vehicle and an initial auto insurance policy to re- solve her transportation barrier. Angelic has been employed as an LPN since February 2023 at a rate of $27 per hour.
