EMPLOYMENT RELATIONSHIP: Just cause subject to probationary period
CURRENT HOURS AND STARTING TIME: Full-time (37.5 hours per week) position. The current starting time for this position is 8:30 a.m.
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Under direction, supervises the coordination and implementation of grant funded prevention, treatment, and recovery services. Assists Macomb County Office of Substance Abuse (MCOSA) and its contract providers to increase access to medication-assisted treatment. Drives increasing access for underserved populations to reduce opioid overdose related deaths through prevention, treatment, and recovery activities. Implements new treatment strategies to address Stimulant Use Disorder and other substance use issues.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides technical assistance to grant funded prevention, treatment, and recovery service providers.
Collects, reports, and assists in the analysis of data and outcome information for grant funded programming.
Assists grant funded programs in securing and scheduling necessary training.
Ensures evaluation reports are completed and maintained in accordance with funding source standards, MCOSA, and Macomb County Community Mental Health (MCCMH) policies and procedures.
Demonstrates full comprehension of all projects outlined in grants.
Reviews data collection and reporting practices for contract services to ensure external and internal reporting timeframes are met.
Responsible for professional presentations, public speaking, and other community events representing MCOSA and MCCMH.
Represents administrative team to apply and monitor compliance with MCOSA policies and procedures.
Performs related duties as assigned.
