Sales and Business Development Manager

NOXMAT USA Inc. is an internationally active manufacturer of heating systems for use in heat treatment plants in the iron and non-ferrous metal industry. Our core competences are the development and production as well as the worldwide sales and service of industrial gas burners, electric heating elements and furnace components.

We are looking for an ambitious salesperson to further develop our business in North America. The position will be based at our offices near Detroit, MI, where our new North American headquarter is being built.

Primary Responsibilities:

• • • Build and maintain customer relationships throughout North America in the heat treatment, furnace building, chemical, ceramics, and environmental industry
    • Work and cooperate with our engineering team in Germany in order to design and build industrial gas burner systems as well complete heating systems from gas main train to fan blower layout
    • Work and cooperate with our engineering team in Germany in order to design and build electric heating systems in combination with the associated control equipment
    • Coordintate and execute the NOXMAT marketing strategy for North America
    • Work out and follow up on quotations for various industrial projects
    • Be the company’s representative at industry events and at industry associations, work out presentations and conduct training on NOXMAT systems for our customers
    • Built a sales and service network throughout North America
    • The job requires some national travel to interact with customers
    • International travel for training in Germany may be required for a couple of weeks
    • Regular scheduled work hours are from 8:00 am – 4:30 pm Monday to Friday, some overtime may occur due to national travels

     

    All activities will be thoroughly supported by our experienced staff from Germany!

Candidate Requirements:

• • Relevant education and training for the job, preferably a Bachelor’s degree or two year Technical College in Business or Engineering
  • No minimum experience is required as we will conduct an in-depth training in Michigan, Germany and on the Job
  • Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of an organization
  • Ability to strategically analyze a customer’s needs in a competitive environment
  • Ability to sell creatively and recognize potential new markets, customers and opportunities
  • Good command of English with German or other languages being an advantage but not necessary

  Noxmat offers a compensation of $ 60,000 – $ 65,000 base salary plus commission and a lot of room to grow into a leading position as the business develops and grows.
