US Farathane is seeking an experienced Purchasing Junior. Supports Materials Department by monitoring and maintaining systems, B.O.M. accuracy, internal audits, and ensuring Inventory accuracy following the cycle count procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Ensure following MMSA guidelines.
- Assist with Production Scheduler duties and Inventory Control Analyst duties as needed in the event of absence of above personnel.
- Assists in B.O.M. review.
- Attends weekly KPI and monthly MMOS meetings with BUMM.
- Attends 8D meetings when required.
- Operates in a safe environment.
- Performs any tasks or duties as required by Plant Management.
- Ensure monthly cycle counts are complete including investigation into any adjustments that are out of tolerance.
- Complete Cycle Counts on build outs – Cycle Counts will be done weekly on last 8 weeks of production.
- Report Daily Cycle Count finding, if discrepancy investigate and report root cause and corrective action to Materials Manager.
- Sends weekly releases to all production suppliers and monitors inventory levels.
- Monitors silo inventories and scheduled deliveries of bulk resin
- Receives all production shippers into Parts+ system and investigates any discrepancies.
- Enter Production sheets as assigned by Materials Manager
- Supervisory Responsibilities- In the event that this position becomes vacant, the Inventory Control Analyst or Materials Manager will resume responsibilities.
- Environmental Responsibilities- Cooperate with action team directives. Familiar with evacuation plans. Trained in clean-up modules. Familiar with environmental plant postings.

- Education and/or Experience- Associate’s degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or 1 to 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
