Healthcare Registered Apprenticeship Programs

Talent shortages and increasing skill demands have made it difficult to keep pace with growing demand. With these facts in mind, Macomb/St. Clair Michigan Works! and local Employers, Training Providers, and Sponsors are working toward registering 300 apprentices in the healthcare industry.

How are registered apprenticeships different from traditional medical training?

Traditionally, students will attend school and then must find employment in their field. Registered apprenticeship starts with employment; you don’t have to worry about going to school and not finding work. Apprenticeship allows you to work in a healthcare setting, earning a wage while you attend classes.
